In The New York Times (http://www.nytimes.com/2009/08/02/books/review/Ajami-t.html) Fouad Ajami writes, C. Caldwell “gives this subject its most sustained and thoughtful treatment to date.”
In The Los Angeles Times (http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/news/arts/la-et-rutten19-2009aug19,0,32363.story) Tim Rutten argues, that the ebook “does not disappoint, though many may find its essentially despairing conclusion debatable, if sobering.”
The Islamic site altmuslim (http://www.altmuslim.com/a/a/a/3241/) says in opposition, that “Caldwell confuses the diversity of peoples and the diversity of values.”
